What's ScolioVis?

ScolioVis is a tool for automatically measuring the Cobb Angle—the standard measurement to assess Scoliosis. We harness the power of object detection and landmark detection to analyze the spine and calculate the cobb angle. Here's how to use it.

Great model performance

We trained a Keypoint RCNN model on the SpineWeb Dataset 16. Boasting a performance of 93% AP at IoU=0.50 for object detections and 57% AP at OKS=0.50 on keypoint detections. For cobb angle measurement, we have achieved an SMAPE of 8.97 which means ScolioVis as a whole is able to predict cobb angles at 91.03% accuracy.

Very Good Software Quality

ScolioVis was evaluated using the ISO/IEC 25010 Software Quality Standards, and achieved a high quality and effectiveness in meeting user needs, with all eight characteristics assessed being rated as "Very Good" with an overall mean of 4.39.
